Better Later Than Never.

Better later than never (BLTN Wood Working, LLC) was officially started in 2023 but it’s been in development for well over thirty years. To be honest my passion for building and making was ignited in the seventies when I worked with my dad customizing vans. Yup, that was a thing. We were turning cargo vans into customized campers. Those vans were far out man. But it wasn’t until the early eighties that I really started building on my own and creating my own designs.

The reality of course is that passion doesn’t always mean profit so I have had the good fortune of working in a variety of fields that provided well for my family. About twenty five years ago I chose to work in the field of substance abuse and mental health. I am grateful to share that for the last 18 years I’ve enjoyed pursuing my 2 passions. Still serving today as a leader and mentor.

The picture below is of the first power tool I ever owned. We wont be talking about how many I own today “therapist heal thy self” but I keep it in my shop because it brings me joy. That’ s what I hope my pieces do for you. By the way, that old tool has continued to work well since 1973.
